2209 Firestone Circle

After 6 months of looking at houses online and several trips to Tyler, we found a house! It is located South of town in a beautiful neighborhood called Hollytree. Wednesday evening, we picked up the U-Hauls. My parents arrived right away willing to help us load up our entire house! We couldn't have done it without them! Friday, my Mom, Jake and I headed to Tyler. My mom driving one U-haul, Jake in the other, and me in Jake's truck. Dad drove up on Saturday. We were greeted by our friendly neighbors Becky and Mark Jones. Along with the neighbors were the West's and Allen's ready to help unload the U-Hauls! THANK YOU sooo much for all your help! My parents stayed the weekend to help put our new home together and by Sunday, pictures were hung on the wall! THANK YOU MOM AND DAD FOR EVERYTHING! From the sale of our home to the purchase of this home, we could not have done it without your help DAD! Thanks for being our Realtor and for all your help through the whole process. I know it was a tough one!

Tyler Bound

We knew this day would soon come, just didn't realize how quick! Ever since Jake and I started dating, or should I say.... the day I met Jake.... I knew he was an East Texas Boy! It worked out great Optometry School happened to be in Houston, but I always knew after the 4 yrs at U of H, we would be heading somewhere in East Texas. Since we come from such different towns, we decided a perfect compromise would be TYLER, TEXAS. A small town feel, but with a Mall, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond :) It worked out perfect one afternoon a classmate mentioned to Jake that his father could help him find a job in East Texas. The next day, the classmates Father (who is an Optometrist) called Jake and said, "Dr. Ronald Smith in Tyler is in need of a partner!" Exactly one year ago, we drove into Tyler to meet Dr. Smith and the rest is history!

Going Away Party

The Corkill's were so sweet to put together a going away party for us! Thank you all so much for coming! We are going to Miss You all sooo much! Everyone better come visit us!

Graduation Weekend

The Day finally came!! We had such a fun weekend full of Graduations. Wednesday evening we headed up to San Marcos to watch Kase graduate from Texas State. Saturday, May 15th we all headed to Houston for Jake's graduation. After graduation, we had a celebration at Judges on the water. What a fun weekend! Congrats to Kase and Jacob! It's been a long haul, but it's over Dr. West!
