Corkill Family comes to Tyler

This past weekend, my Best Friend Marita, husband Nick and son Max came to visit us! The boys are 5 weeks apart and it was so fun seeing them together! I know as they get older it is just going to get even more fun! Marita followed Babywise like me and it was great having the boys on the same schedule! 12 Hours of sleep through the night and eating every 4 hours! We couldn't have happier babies! Thanks for such a fun weekend Corkill Family!

Play Date with the Edward's

We had a fun afternoon at the pool with Courtney and James! They drove down from Dallas to spend the day and evening with us. It was so fun hanging out with them and seeing the boys play together! As Oprah would say, this was a "FULL CIRCLE" moment for us :) Courtney and I met at the pool 17 years ago in League City and have been friends ever since! We just couldn't believe we were holding our boys in the pool together!

Madelyn is ONE!!

This past weekend Jake and I went to League City to celebrate my niece Madelyn's 1st Birthday! We had a great time and it was so much fun watch Colt and Madelyn play together.

Rice Cereal!

Clot had his first taste of Rice Cereal! The first few bites he wasn't really sure about it... The doctor said we could start giving it to him at 4 months... I was really excited and enjoyed giving it to him, but after a week I got sad that he was already 4 months old and decided to hold off on the spoon feeding until 6 months.. time is just going by too quick, I don't want to rush it!

4 Month's Old!

Colt is 4 Months already :( He is getting so big and changing every day! We had our checkup with Dr. Melton and it went great. Another round of shots for the little guy, but he did just fine. He weighed 13 lbs 2 oz. So what's new at 4 months.... We have such a happy baby if you couldn't tell by the video! Full of smiles and laughter, we are so lucky to have such a content healthy boy. We are now rolling to our side and by morning, Colt rotates all the way around in his Crib! He is getting way more vocal with loud coos! Along with nursing, the Dr. said we could start to introduce Colt to solid foods starting with rice cereal. I'll post that next :) Our bedtime is around 9:30-10:00 and we sleep until 7:30-8:00! During the day I am trying to stretch feedings to every 4 hrs.

Weekend in League City

Friday I headed down to League City for a fun weekend with Gigi and Poppie! It was our first trip without Daddy. Colt did great on the way down there, but the ride back was a little rough. We stopped off in Kingwood to visit our buddy Max on the way down. It is so fun seeing the boys together! We then headed over to the galleria area to visit Nana! It was a relaxing weekend at Gigi and Poppie's.
