FULL TERM!!!!!

We are FULL TERM and feeling it! Today marks 37 WEEKS and I can hardly believe Colt can come at anytime! I went to the Doctor Wednesday and she said I am measuring right on track,1 cm dialated and 50% effaced! Then following said, "he could come any day now!" This made it all sooo real! I've been feeling good lately. I can't believe how big my stomach really is! It doesn't even look real anymore. I've started having a few contractions, but none are taking my breath away and aren't consecutive yet. I think it's just braxton hicks or Colt letting me know he doesn't have room in my belly anymore and it's time to come out!

The baby room is ready, car seat installed and bags are packed!

My parents are heading this way tomorrow for Christmas and staying through Wednesday. Hopefully we will have some activity early in the week so they will already be here! Sheldon, Lynsey and Madelyn are heading this way on Sunday to celebrate Christmas with us! We had Christmas with the West's yesterday in Winnsboro!

Baby Update

We are less than a month away from the arrival of our little Boy and can't wait! I had my 36 Week Checkup yesterday and the Doctor says everything is right on track with a due date of Jan. 14th!

I will be going weekly to the Dr. until Colt arrives.

She didn't think we will have a Christmas baby, but maybe soon after! Time to relax, kick my feet up and enjoy time with Jake before our lives completely change.

Tyler Shower!

I can't begin to tell you how lucky I am to have just moved to Tyler 7 Months ago and already have made such sweet friends here! Ashley and Lacy were so sweet to put together a lunch shower for me in Tyler at Currents Restaurant. I have loved getting to know all of you and can't wait to make memories in the years to come!

I can't tell you how spoiled Colt West already is and he hasn't even entered the world! We had another shower in Winnsboro this past weekend hosted by 12 of Paula's sweet friends! Everything was so nice and We love all the gifts everyone gave us! Thank you so much for everything!!!!

Thanksgiving in Winnsboro

My parents came in town for Thanksgiving and we spent the day in Winnsboro with all the West's! Thank you Ronnie and Paula for having us all! What a relaxing day of eating, relaxing by the fire and watching football!

We took some Maternity pictures the other day to remember this special time in our lives! Cassie Spalding is a great photographer here in Tyler. The pictures were taken at the Rose Garden in town. Jake was actually a good sport about it :)

Ready for the Holiday's

This past weekend I could not have done it without the help of my Mom! My parents came in town last Tuesday for Thanksgiving. We spent the weekend decorating our house for our first Christmas in Tyler! It might be a quiet one or who know, Colt might come early!

Max Kilmer Corkill has Arrived!

On November 23rd at 5:03 PM, My Best Friend Marita and her husband Nick welcomed to the world their son Max. After a 25 hr labor, Max arrived weighing 8.2 lbs and 19.5 long. The family is doing great and I finally had a chance to catch up with Marita and hear all about the last 6 days of being a Mommy! Sounds like it is the greatest thing in the world and I can't wait to experience it!

Shower Time in Bayou Vista

WOW, another WONDERFUL Shower!! This past weekend, my best friends and Sister in law hosted me a shower at Sheldon and Lynsey's house in Bayou Vista. It was such a nice party and everything was decorated so cute! We received so many great gifts from everyone and really feel so lucky to have each of you in our lives! Colt's closet is starting to fill up and it is making this all seem like he is going to be in this world before we know it!

Who will Colt look like?
